On Sunday May 18th, I was privileged to capture engagement portraits for Mark and Megan, who will soon be married. This session was a lot of fun. It's obvious that they love to have fun and I think that comes through strong in the finished photos. Thanks Mark & Megan, and best of luck with the remaining wedding plans!

Our Rotary club is hosting it's 1st Annual Casino Night this Saturday evening at the Sunset Hills Country Club in Carrollton. I was asked if I would like to donate a print of some kind to the items in the raffle/auction.
This was something I have done in the past, so I was more than happy to participate with a donation. The print is of the No 12 green at Augusta National, and was taken during the Wednesday practice round of the Masters this year. It is a 16x20 gallery wrapped canvas, ready for hanging.

We had a great time at the 2008 Masters on Wednesday. We walked around for a couple of hours watching various golfers practice throughout the course. At about 2:00 we headed over to watch the Par 3 Tournament, which was fun. We got to see an incredible grouping of past Masters' champions - Gary Player, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus during the Par 3.

Thanks to my brother in law, I just found out I'm headed to the Masters tomorrow. I'm excited because on Wednesday they allow you to take a camera into the tournament. So check back soon for a link to my 2008 Masters photos.

For the second year in a row we attended the Georgia Karate League's awards banquet. Although he was only eight days old, Murphy even made and appearance at the tournament to watch T.J. and also attended the banquet. After a long day of competition in the opening tournament of the year T.J. and I accepted our awards for the 2007 tournament year. T.J. was state runner up in kata for the 8 & Under division. I was awarded state champion in all three competition divisions - kata (forms), kobudo (weapons), and kumite (sparring).
